50 cal GPR Lyman. Is it enough for close range black bear? 110 gr. 2f or 90 gr.3f as the high range loads recommended. 50 yds or less.
 
If it were me I would use a load with a lot more whomp but that is just me. I have had bears make bluff charges at me, and I have seen enough to say I would want more power. Ron
