!!!!! Black in Back !!!!!

Well I picked up a couple of pounds of genuine-double rectified-black powder the other day and life is good!!!! I have been watching videos on making your own and fortunately My partner and I are chemical engineers, and we have the necessary equipment in our office/shop to do the job. However , it is way easier to buy it!!!!

My Lyman GPR ( better known as "Painless" ) is excited about the coming shoot. Kinda like a dog when he is getting a treat.

Looks like Black is Back !!!

Many years ago I made some of my own black powder. It was ok for fire crackers but not good enough for shooting. Now I realize I was not grinding my ingredients fine enough. Still even though I now know my problem, I still have no intentions to make powder when I still have enough powder left to use.

I wouldn't make homemade myself. I know that it took hundreds of years of perfecting the recipe and equipment to make the stuff we use today.

I would end up making squib load powder with my luck.
