Just for the sake of thought:

Let's say you have two partial cans of FFFg, only different brands, is it safe to blend a 1/2 can of GOEX and a 1/2 can of Swiss black powder to make one whole can?

I assume the performance of the powder(s) would change slightly, but is it safe?

What do you think?

As long as ya don't blend any Pachyderm powder in to the mix it should still work ok. But the swiss, being a hotter powder might mess ya up some. No matter what, you would most likely change your POI.

Now Musket Man, you know that Swiss powder, being 723&1/2 times stronger than anything else on the market will not allow its superior self to be mingled with inferior grades of powder.

They coat each granule, at the factory, with a special magnetic coating that repels any other powder that comes close to the superior Swiss granules!

This magnetic coating also creates a static charge that will cause it to explode as it is being transfered to the inferior can.

Of course if you attempt to transfer the inferior powder to the Swiss can it will be repelled by the magnetic charge and instantly leap from the can!

If you do manage to force the repellant granules into the same rifle or pistol barrel they will probably spontaniously ignite from the static created by the constant attempts of the granules to avoid contact with each other.

This will cause at least 60 gazillion psi and must be fired only in black powder guns made using barrels from old Daisey BB guns!

  :results:

Really, it will probably change your POI slightly.

I mixed up some Goex 2f and some Packy-derm 2f into the same can. Shook it up, mixed it around and I use it my double barrel shotgun and my smoothbore.

Works ok, no noticable difference, the guns go boom, I still miss.....can't notice any difference.....I know, maybe I'll keep one eye opened! :: :: :haha: :haha: :hmm:

Safe, probably if you keep it within reasonable powder charges and don't try to send anything (including parts of the gun barrel orbital). However, we're tossing consistency and with it, accuracy, out the window.
