This knife has a 7" clip point blade made from an old circular sawmill blade. The handle is the legbone of a deer aged to look old with a smoked braintanned wrap on the handle. The sheath is made of vegetable tanned leather covered in deer rawhide from two deer I did years ago with braintanned fringe and tin cones with dyed deer hair and "pony" beads.

From the last several post I have read I see you have been busy. You are a craftsman. To save me typing I'll just say it here, they all look nice. Keep up the good work and keep sharing. I enjoy seeing all the things that are made by skilled artisans.

I think it is a great idea to use materials that mean something to you personally. I did a smaller knife (4" blade) with a bone handle from a black bear I shot. Only I know the origin of the bone handle but it always has special significance for me.
