I'm always looking at the same couple knifes..

Any good leather sheaths options out there?

I found one that's plastic but real nice looking anyway I might get that.

Old hickory boning knife is an option also..

I think Case has one also.

And buck has a modern style that I like but don't want.

other thing i was thinking..

I like leather but..

I've taken out knifes that I put away and found the leather all nice and moldy?

I don't want a plastic handle knife. but I think yea maybe that's an option.. sanitation

On the moldy issue you've gotta wax and/or oil that leather every now and then to avoid that and to keep it from drying out. The nicest sheath in the world will mold and dry sooner or later without proper maintenance. If you settle on a knife and want a leather sheath there are several guys here in the forum, including me, who make such things. The first knife you pictured is very similar to the knife I skin my deer with and it works great. Picked mine up in a thrift store for less than a dollar and made a sheath for it. Wouldn't take a hundred bucks for it.

Edit: sanitary: if you go with wood or some other natural material just be sure to clean it good after each use when working with meat. It's really a non-issue. For me plastic is a non-starter right off the bat. I like more traditional stuff but your mileage may vary.

I noticed that on sheath making.

It's not really a belt wear looking knife to me.

I don't need to wear it.. just in a backpack etc...a something sheath for it.

I have one of the victronox ones. I might get the rosewood knife and kydex sheath combo for me..

They make it in pink I found now.. that's the same problem no sheaths..

Lol made this yesterday I found.

It worked? this drill bit case. I kinda like it..

The handle on my knife is getting washed looking now. I do like that.
