I spent the morning sighting in both of my TC Big boar 58. I chose to use pyrodex RS as I have alot of it that I need to use up, then I'll go to strictly real black. I mainly use conicals but on giant pigs I'm getting pass through using patched rb. I sighted in at 25 with rb clover leading I then decided a 50 yard zero. Big boar #1 loved a .570 rb and .018 patch 95 grains of pyro. Both came with musket nipples and o have a good supply of RWS 1081 musket caps 50 yard groups were around 1 3/4 inch recoil very manageable. I also put a .58 wonder wad over powder to help with patch blowout when using heavier charges. Big boar #2 loved 80 gr pyro rs .015 patch group size at 50 was a little under 1 1/2. I used 3 shot groups and swabbed with 91% rubbing al hook to. Lean a d dry quickly. I also cast some .562 rb but they were t very accurate. I may shoot the TOW maxi-ball just to see how they shoot. I have. Confidence in the .58 rb.. my .58 lee real mold will be here today. I look forward to hunting hogs with the big r
