Triple 7 I think.
Blackhorn 209, but it designed for inline guns using 209 primers. Not intended for use in traditional side locks, percussion or flint.

Mine is a Lyman Great Plains 54 cap lock. Would like to use a BP substitute that does not contain sulfur.

Your right. Just read up on Triple Seven. NO SULFUR. Will look for some.
I shoot lots of it and like it. Cleans up easy for me. Not as much of a big fun cloud of smoke as BP but still ok.

If you use T7 get a nipple like a Hot Shot Nipple or one similar. The substitutes have a higher ignition temp compared to Black Powder. Nipples like the Hot Shot were designed to put more spark from a #11 cap into to the powder charge for more positive ignition. You can get them from Track of the Wolf. The threading for the Lyman Great Plains is 6 - .75. DANNY
