Today was good shootin' weather in SE Florida. A friend of mine lives on 8 acres in a rural part of the county and at high noon we were stokin' up the GPRs for a little offhand practice. The light breeze was right in our faces, and sometimes we would fire almost simulataneously causing a big mass of smoke to envelope us . The 3f and wonder-lubed pillow ticking enabled me to shoot strings without swabbing. Actually had a group that I wish would of been on a index card (although its still a few days until the contest, Me thinks). After field-cleaning the GPRs, a trip to the pond, (about 40 yards from the dirt-pile shooting backstop)resulted in three bass and one speckled perch..yes, life can be good
