Boy, i would still like to see you produce some of them to sell. That is a really great idea on your part. :redthumb:

The mechanism looks ALOT like the salon pistols made by the Dreyse company. Now making a reprodcution of those would be fun to do.

Why not try for a removable powder chamber type?

The Dreyse is what is known as a tap-loader. Unfortunately, it only works well with short ball+powder lengths. The mechanism is still used for some custom airguns.

It never ceases to amaze me what modern medical and dental science produces. Dr. Maynard had a tape primer for increased rate of fire. Dr. Gatling gave us a gun that is used today. Now you Dr. HighRocker bring us a new case-less ammo breechloader and have succeeded where H&K in Germany has failed. :applause:

That's actually a very interesting piece of engineering...looks pretty well made...although with all the gyrations involved in loading one I'm not sure if it would be a time saver...probably took a little work to keep everything cleaned up too.

Any idea what purpose is served by what appears to be an empty, false trigger guard in front of the guard that houses the trigger?

Wow! what a machinist as well as an engigear---this "could have been " firearm could have been looked at as sort of the great grand daddy of the Martini action. My Hammerli 160 SP Free pistol has a similar breech operating mechanism only the block drops down to eject and for re-loading. Great work---you've got talent. :master:
