If i remove the drum, is it just to tread the plug out, on my Trapper pistol? I guess that there is some kind of tread lock. I have read that loosing the plug, is a verry no no. I wonder wy? I have loosen the plugs on all my other blackpowder guns.I just want to look thru the barrel, and check the rifling.

What make is your pistol?
Some European made guns are made not to be disassembled. :shocked2:
The manufactuer was trying to avoid any lawsuits. The drum and breech plug were made with the type of threads that if it is disassembled, the very act of unthreading will destroy the threads. Therefore it can not be reassembled and the have no liability, because they infomred you not to remove. :shake:
