Breechloading flintlock pistol

I have completed constructing and proof-tested a breechloading flintlock pistol. The weather here is too bad for me to complete chronographing and accuracy testing, but I have put up a web page describing its design and construction.

It looks like it will be a fun piece to shoot...

Very nice! If you allowed for 10,000 p.s.i., you definitely over built---always a good idea. Be sure to post velocities and group sizes as you get them. This is truly an interesting experiment. And the pistol is handsome as well.

Pretty cool. Are you going to market them? If so, got any idea on how much they will cost?

Very, very nice. Looks a lot like the mechanics of the Jenks action.

No, I'm not doing anything commercial with the pistol; I just did it as an educational 'fun' project. If anyone else wants to produce them, they have my blessings.
