Yep still looking for a bronze or brass barreled long gun. Rifle or smooth.

Posted one of these want ads about a year ago and got nothing so trying again.

Your best bet is going to be seeing if Bobby Hoyt or Jim Carpenter will make you a barrel, and finding a builder to build you a gun with it. There is a brass barrel rifle in Rifles of Colonial America to work off if you want.

I have been watching for such a gun for years. Not cheep. Every time one comes around I am broke and every time I got money there is none available.

a proper blunderbuss with a brass barrel and a flintlock in a proper blunderbuss bore is gonna cost more than the long gun will in most cases
