I have a custom Brown Bess to build for a customer and I was wondering if the Bayonet that "The Rifle Shoppe" has is a good match to the old ones. This customer wants his to be as close as it can be. Just wondering if any one has seen one from The Rifle Shoppe ?

Thanks

Tim, this is suppose to be a copy of an original drawing of the brown bess and hardware, it show's the original bayonet...

I'd think they'd have it right, there are plenty of survivors to copy. I have one here, a triangular blade with two blood gutters up the back.

Thanks guys, I talked to Jess at "THE RIFLE SHOPPE" and he told me that the ones he makes are EX copys of the orignals.
This customer wants it all to look like it came off the line back then, so I want to do this just the way it would have been done.
Once more thank you so very much!
