Needed some balls. Ran ou no time to cast.
Stopped at my usual supplier.
No balls. No Buffalo Bullets. Inly thing was CVA Buck Slayer Bullets.
Any on have any experience with these?
So far the deer aren't cooperating; so I can't tell for myself.

No experience with them, but if you're sighted in for round balls you'll likely be needing some range time to get the sights set for the conicals. They're almost twice as heavy as round balls of the same caliber.

You might want to try and find some TC Cheapshots. I shot my. first deer with a sabot( Cheapshot) Dec 5. Have been shooting them with RB's . I bought them at the flea market cheap. Also bought the gun there this summer and redone it( Cheap). Been used and abused. I sighted in in with RB's, then tried a cheapshot. The gun, a Traditions .50 Hawken with a 1-48 twist liked the cheapshots. Shot dead center in the bull. So decided to use them. It knocked the doe flat, never got up. Graveyard dead. Going to use them this weekend. Easy to load too. Dilly

Looks IDENTICAL to the concept behind the "Ball-ets" made by Buffalo Bullet company. That being a short, heavy slug-type of projectile, but one that 'usually' stabilizes in twists to 1-in-66".

FWIW I got phenomenal accuracy with them from my 1:66" Mowrey 50cal percussion, but I had to tune them with my powder charge. I believe I ended up around 75grs FFFg.

I can't say how they perform on game animals but they group real good out of my 1:32 barrel and 90 grains of 2F Goex.
