Has anyone got their copy of Buckskinner? I called in a subscription in early March and was told they would send the Feb/Mar issue and thats the last I've heard. No answers to several emails, nothing. Have I been blackballed? Or is this just business as usual?
Any info would be appreciated.

I tell ya, It's gotta be Lake Michigan eatin up them magazines. I did get the Feb/Mar issue (I think it came by dogsled around the north shore of Superior), but have been told at least three times that they were sending/are sending/have sent the Dec/Jan issue. Haven't seen it yet... :I would put that little red faced guy here, but Mom always taught me not to curse:

Guys, I talked to him last week and his plate is full, he's busier than a 3 tailed cat in a room full of rocking chairs. He said they had some problems with the printers, you should be gettin a magazine soon, I hope:shocking:

I emailed and got a reply: trouble at the printer. I say we march on them printers and tar and feather em!

Seriously though, I am sure it'll pan out. It's a new magazine and it'll take some time to iron out problems etc. I think it's well worth the wait (I've practically worn out my two issues!)!

I am sure that the publisher is well aware of the delays and he dreads the deadline every other month (that's when most problems arise)...

Some things are just beyond his control, if the issues are not worked out, the publisher is forced to get another supplier/printer, and that takes time...

A back-up printer is always a good idea, and I'm certain that was concidered...

All subscriptions will be honored, I am sure of that...

You may have fallen through the cracks.

Buffler, that's the editor, told me the other day there was a glitch at the printers with the April/May issue, so, he's got his hands full there.

He deals with a lot of emails, so please be paitence, its hard putting a magazine together. :shake: And when a hundred people are asking questions and time is limited, what do you do? Answer emails or print a magazine.

Hey, don't get me wrong. I'm not on the Buckskinner staff, though they have published one of my articles, and I'm not their spokesperson, I'm just giving my take on the situation. I'm sure you'll hear from him soon.

Just :m2c:

WOOOPS!

Ok, no one got blackballed, and Riley...what can I say other than I dropped the ball with you and I'm sorry about that. You can put down all the little angry faces that you want, you've earned it!

We were planning to ship out back issues with the April issue when it came out around the 1st of April, but we ran into a problem at the printer and the issue is currently being reprinted...We just put an announcement up on the Buckskinner Magazine website. So, instead of waiting, back issues will go out in the next day or so. Please email if you haven't received back issues yet.....

And cuss and spit if you like, also.

Very sorry for the delays, folks, but the issue will be worth waiting for. Please remember that we are in our first year still and working out some bugs, and that I will personally attend to any questions and/or problems. Sorry if anyone's emails have fallen through the cracks, I will be more dilligent.

Hang in there, folks, we'll make it worth your while!

Sorry Buffler... :master:

Well, Mr. Stumblin Buffler! I am willing to forgive you for letting me spend so many long and lonely nights reading my other issues 'till they're worn through, and for the sadness and trauma of seeing my mailbox devoid of the new issue each and every evening,   but it'll cost you:

Hey, when I feel like someone is jerking me around, I get pretty whipped up, too. I really appreciate how patient that you and everyone else has been; rest assured, we're busting our humps on this end.

Thanks again, everyone.

But I want that brand new Tulle Fusil de Chase kit from TOTW in 20 gauge!

:haha:I have to laugh.....I know exactly how you feel. There are times that I start counting the days until my 17 year old son will be 21, if he lives that long! Sure hope he does, but some days I really wonder. :shake:
Were we that stupid & smart mouthed when we were that age? LOL

Don't think i was that smart mouthed, but most definately taht stupid. Don't know how i managed to make it to 21. Almost didn't. Don't have the 17 year old son, but do have a 17 year old granddaughter we are raising. Tell ya what, boys are a lot easier. LOL :: No PMS, worrying about prom dates, clothes. makeup, etc.

Well, don't worry too much. We tend to get a lot smarter from the time they are 16 til the time they are 26. One day they just realize how much smarter you have become. :peace:

Yep, i know what ya mean. Went through it already with her mother and her uncle. Her mother hasn't gotten any smarter yet, even though she is almost 35 now, but her uncle finally wised up some, and he is 29 now. Took me a spell to wise up myself though. ::
