Not sure where you can buy a completed powder horn but if you have the talent I have a pair of bison horns and would be willing to part with one so you can make your own.

I just looked at mine and honestly a bison horn is thick walled for its length. I don't see where it would hold much powder and the curvature makes it hard to remove the excess material from the inside without a lot of work and the proper tools.

Now I got to thinking. I just might get some grinders for my Dremel and start working on making one myself. A polished bison horn is really nice. I once had a Ruger SS Blackhawk with buffalo grips and they looked sharp.

You are likely better off thinning a bison horn from the outside, far more control over the process. Raw bison horns are very rough on the outside and take some effort to scrape them down to a smooth working surface. A mature bull horn will hold plenty of powder. Have fun!

Pretty easy to carve your own. I carve 2 a year, generally. Easier than cattle horn. One I carry holds a pound of 2F. Choose the right horn.
