just finished this the blade is a silogen 6" clip point bowie blade i got from a friend he has had it lying around for years it is carbon steel,the handle is the tip from a water buffalo horn from the north of Australia,it came out real nice the horn has nice honey coloured streaks in it.

very nice! i like, especially, the little bit od colour, since it makes the 'plastic' effect of a horn handle go away visually.

i'd recommend a simple fold- over sheath, perhaps with cold moulded leather, in a dark brown or light black veg tan leater with handstitched waxed linnen.

just one guy's opinion.
