Well guys, as promised, Here is the gun. It has performed as planned. I sighted it in and am very happy with its performance out to 100 yards. On a pie plate and for me with this "delayed" ignition im very happy. I think the straight rifling gives me more distance and accuracy when shooting a ball, and the ability to shoot shot as well. My load with shotgun was fun to work up but will limit my Turkey shooting to 25 yds. Have harvested two birds last week. I am very happy with the straight rifling and glad I chose it for my build. I thought I might only build one gun so that is why I chose this barrel. Silly boy, my next project is in the works. .40 cal Tennessee style with steel furniture...

Looks good, like you I thought I'd only build one, now if only the rest of the kit would get here!

How'd it pattern with shot? And just out of curiosity, has anybody tried shot with a 1 in 66 twist? I'm wondering with the slow twist if it'd really mess up the pattern that bad?
