Builder in TX?

I would like to get another rifle, this one to be used for small game hunting. I would much prefer to be able to see someone's work before I place an order. Are there any builders in the TX, OK, LA, NM area that anyone could recomend?

There's a builder named Terry Zboril in Deanville (near Caldwell, TX) that might be able to fix you up. Here's some pics of a .50cal Lancaster Co. flintlock longrifle that he made last year - it sold on Track of the Wolf:

Here's another custom one that he did for someone, with some brass inlay (fish) on the bottom of the curly maple stock:

He can make 'em as fancy or as plain as you want. He does all the engraving, inlaying, and carving himself, by hand. Send me a PM (private message) and I'll give you his e-mail addy and y'all can talk, if you're interested. He has a lot better pics of his work.

Terry used to frequent the forum, but I haven't seen him in a while. You could also do a post search for him, and send him a PM. He is very talented, and I'm sure would build you a gorgeous gun.
