Anyone will . If you call up Pecatonica or Track and say " I want to buy that buttplate ...." I doubt they will tell you No .
Just add one part onto every order. Also keep looking for parts in the for sale board. I picked up a nice .58 caliber (24 gauge) fowler/trade gun barrel for a future build that way. The lock and barrel are the most expensive parts.

Log cabin Fall Fest or whatever they call it is a good place to shop. Purchased a rifled 62 caliber barrel new for $100. My buddy thanked me for the purchase as it prevented him from buying it. lol. Also what appeared to be an original tower lock for $75. Just be prepared to pay as it my not be there later in the day.

Had a few interruptions today so didn't get enough time in the bedding so it'll be continued tomorrow ....funny ...worked on it almost two hours and the breech never once dropped from the measurement , it actually gained , ie got higher ! LOL ...it does that ! Finally dropped though ...its at .053 at the Breech now ....keep on keepin on ....

Really enjoy seeing the process and progress Rob. Can’t help but learn from it. I’m back at my camp and after a little cleanup and bush hogging I’m jumping back into my build, finally.
Cool bud . hope your gettin good work done , havin fun . Hope all is good with you . Look forward to progress on your build . :)

Rob helped me make my first trade gun. What I like about trade guns is the butt plate, trigger guard and ram rod thimbles are really easy to make.
What Rob didn't tell me is once you build one you want to build more....lol
Thats so cool ... Once ya get the bug ! :)

Start the breech inlet ....inlet breech bolster first . Mark undersize for width , take off each side little at a Time while watching gap at barrels sides ...keep it centered ...take it down till the tang gets close ... Bend tang to curve of stock , in vice ... When tang gets close enough trace around it and stay in side those lines !
