I need some info on pouches.I want to make a mountaineer pouch 1820-40 priod any info is appreciated as to size weight of lether to be used pics would be great.Regards...rusty

ive got some nice 2 ounce leather im going to make mine from. i plan on lining it with either linen, some pillow ticking, or some dark green wool i have. i have been looking at some in shawn websters book, t c alberts, and some in rex normans articles in muzzleloader mag. i have made a lot of pouches, but this will be my first for the mountain man kit im building.
