So I was on the phone with TOTW today and hoping to buy some #7 shot for my 20g fowling piece and was informed they wouldn’t have any lead shot until the new year. Can anyone recommend where I can get some? I’ve a good collection of lead and have tried to make my own with homemade shot towers but the resulting product was less than desirable.
I’m in Canada which has a sliver thin margin of BP products so I long ago resigned myself to ordering from the states.
Thanks kindly for your suggestions.

I’ve had good luck with Ballistic Products ordering buckshot and some shot, though I have usually have been able to pick up shot locally at a little better price. I see from your profile you are in Branford, maybe 90 minutes from Buffalo. Do you get south very often? Might be worth the drive (and tolls) when compared to shipping cost, if you can confirm what you want is available close to where you cross. When I lived in Western New York years ago the LGS was doing a good business with Canadian customers. Not sure how things have been recently.

The catch will be shipping to Canada. I'm pretty sure I can't send cast bullets. I'm not sure if shot falls under that same umbrella. In the past I could buy good shot in the store. Since the price explosion, things have never been quite the same. The last place I bought from was Ballistic Products, who I am close enough to, to pick up in the store. Rotometals is quite high priced, but they might stand a good chance of shipping to Canada.

Ouch, $40/bag... When I started shooting trap/reloading I got it for $11, which was right about 2000. Had the opportunity to buy into a pallet for $8/bag and didn't do it, sure wish I would have.
