This seems to be a very odd size. I have a 50 cal, and it seems to measure out at 9mm. Not your everyday average go to Home Depot size.

Anyone know where to get a replacement, my original stinks.

That size seems correct...

Does that actually fit into the rings, and do you carry that under the barrel while hunting or shooting?

I told them what gun i wanted it for and they made one to fit. I carried it in the ramrod pipes while hunting. It added a bit of weight but made loading a lot easier. You don't need a short starter with one, just use the rod and ram the ball home. And they don't break.

Great info... I will call them and request same on Monday....

I was also very bad yesterday, I ordered another Blue Ridge, this time a flinter in 54 cal... Cabelas had a big sale going on... 409. That is not much more than I paid in 1999.

They also have 36 cal flinters on sale... the piggy bank is very frightened.
