Can I fire blue the trigger on a kibler Fowler?

Will the trigger separate with the heat involved in fire bluing or will the weld hold? It would look fine if I left it in the white of course.

A weld will hold but solder will not, isn’t that trigger one piece? If so it will be fine to do whatever you want.

I just polished mine up stuck a propane torch to it and I love the way it turned out.

I fire blue a lot of screws to match antique furniture screws. Though they aren’t as refined. It’s pretty easy.

I fire blue all screws and triggers, even did a trigger guard, which came out looking color case.
thing i don't like is it isn't very deep and will mar easily. but i do love the look.
A butt plate for a build.

BobeLee is right, polish, polish and then polish again. The fire blue will come up a rich dark with the surface smooth and shiny. Like Grandpa’s Sunday shoes.
