Lost one of my barrel rib screws from my CVA Hawken Project. If you have a parts gun and would be willing to part with a screw . Let me know!
Try Deer Creek Products- lots of CVA parts there. I needed a sear spring for my Mtn Rifle, found it in the parts listing for the Kentucky, IIRC, so look around for other CVA rifle parts if you don't find what you need in "Hawken parts".

Baxter, I agree with you on Deer Creek Products. I've bought many small parts from sights to screws. They changed ownership some years ago but their customer service is still good.

I am aware of Deer Creek. Just not wanting to pay 7 bucks for 1 screw. I'm hoping someone will help a brother out with a screw from an old parts gun. A while back there was a fella here who was wanting to buy an old nasty barrel to practice cutting dove tails into. I hooked him up with a 12 inch chunk of nasty barrel for practice for the cost of shipping. Cause that is the kind of guy I am. I know there are more like me out there. I'll check the mom and pops hardware store in town tomorrow as they have some gun screws in the hardware section but not holding my breath.

If you can get me some measurements of the thread pitch and size, I will go through my screws. See if I have what you are looking for. Have a couple different collections of misc screws, so may take me a couple days to sort through them all.
Mike

Fellas thanks for the offers to help and suggestions. Mom and Pops hardware came through with the help of a drill press and a file custom screw has been manufactured and installed

Why do you think they call them screws!
