are the canoe brand knives you get from track of the wolfe made in the USA,i relay like this one the Large Courier Des Bois Belt Knife.

I believe so. Some time back this topic came up and someone posted who makes them. I tried to search but my Search Fu is off this morning; not enough coffee yet.
 
I don't know who the maker is, but I bought one of these knives several years ago. They are well made and hold a sharp edge.
 
They are nice knives. And a number of vendors sell them. I think even Crazy Crow carries some of them. But you might also check out other vendors like Jas. Townsend and Sons, Log Cabin, October Country, Dixie Gun Works - they might also carry them.

But it is too bad they use BRASS pins instead of IRON pins for the handles. Those brass pins push the time period for the knives well into the 1800's - no matter which shape/style of blade you choose.

It's just a small "detail", but those little details become important to some people.

Just my humble thoughts to share, and best used in conjunction with your own research.
