Capping: how?

Here's another one. Snail capper, cylinder on half-cock. You press the little lever to feed a cap into the open. You then put it onto the nipple and pull it away and it's magically on, right?

Do you keep that little lever pressed down while you position the free cap onto the nipple? It seems like theree's no room to fit that damn capper into the space, but I know some of you can no sweat.

Please share the secret.

The little lever is a dispencer, hold it in, tilt down till a cap drops and let go. A single cap is now held captive in the jaws of the little lever and ready to be installed.

Press the cap on the nipple,, press, the cap on, (thumb pressure here),, then snap the capper diagonally away from the nipple,
You'll figure it out,

Depress the lever to feed a cap then release it. Otherwise it will fall out. Push the cap onto the nipple then slide the capper off. Some guns don't have enuf room to do it at half cock though.
