Thanks bud , appreciate it . Gotta let it , well , the iron parts , soak for awhile . The last gun I soaked for days and still had a problem with it trying to continue rusting even baking soda ed it twice too ! So trying to be cautious this time . Can't wait to assemble it final and shoot it again .

I started putting Mountain Laurel cold browning on it then when I ran out , LOL ...I started putting Homer Dangler cold browning on it . I just kept watching it and applying the stuff till it got this texture ... Should have some pictures of it assembled tomorrow , hopefully , if I have the time .Lots of work to do tomorrow and the next day .

After some truck work and homestead work I started final assembly of her but ....she started fighting me there at the end so I had to put her up for the evening , was starting to rush because the good lighting was going quick , dont want to hurry . I should have pics tomorrow ... Pic of a dandy buck that keeps comin around as well ....

Ok , finally ... Final assembly pics BUT .....bare with me ...the lighting is horrible . I'm getting glares in the shade and dark pics on the porch in the middle of the day . &%$# &%$#!!!! Always something . Evening are usually best for pics so I'll take some more later esp. on my antique sandstone , they usually look good , the contrast BUT .....preliminary finished pics for ya all.

Purty, Rob. You know rustic for sure, even the edges of the trigger guard are pitted to match the flat surfaces.

Us lefties are forming a mob to "influence" certain recalcitrant gun builders in Ohio, I think you're safe from us....for now
