Need name of supplier of cast bullets for the Smith carbine,
.515,300 plus grains. Thanks

The way this reads, Dixie sell cast Smith bullets, but they don't say how many is in the bulk cast box, but it is something to go on, also the Maynard bullet is close enough in size to work in the Smith Carbine...

musketman,Ol Ray Rapine makes a nice mould. They are a bit pricey, but he has them for moulds that you cant find anywhere else.Rapines web site last I knew was down. Some one said he didnt have time to mess with it?
Mick Owsiak in NJ makes custom brass for the Smith [856]596-0177.Eve.
Some fellas use maxie ball that has been laped out to correct size.

kendall,The N-SSA has I bet 2,000 guys are shooting the Smith.Everyone there that I know cast their own.The only shooter that I know that sells cast bullets and minnes for C/W weapons is Patrick Kaboskey in Wi. phone # [262] 363-4625 He has a ad in out magazine.
A added note on the Navy arms Smiths.Be carefull with the clean out screw. It has a damm fine thread and only about 2 of them. There have been a few that have blown out.I would take it out and loctight in.
