I have been using RWS 1075s for a long time since they were what I could get.

CCI 10s became available so I bought 1,000. I figured 10s were the best size for C&P guns. Well, maybe they are, but I shot them today and had 3 duds out of 10. Three. And I spun the cylinder around each time and hit them again and still nothing. (This was when I was blasting caps before shooting.)

This is ridiculous. I feel like throwing them out.

They are probably too small for the nipples and are not seated all the way down. The hammer force was taken up by the cap sitting high and it appeared to be a "dud"

CCI #10's are a very small cap and don't fit a lot of my guns.

That makes sense. I thought I seated them snugly but you can't really tell if the resistance is from the face of the cap on the nipple or the walls expanding.

It's kind of infuriating that I need to own every single kind of cap just to enjoy shooting a variety of revolvers

Plus now that I found out CCI has different "lots" so even #11's are different sizes.

Percussion Rifles and single shot pistols are way more forgiving , you stick a cap on the nipple and if it fits, it ships.....

Revolvers are notoriously finicky with caps
