I had to give em' a try...





I got a pattern off the net and one from Spence and combined the two and this is what I've come up with. I guess they aren't too bad for the first pair. They are made from elk leather or at least that's what I bought it for. Now where are those briars and sharp rocks for this tender foot to find. :doh: :shake:

Nice work. Michael Galban did a DVD that is the best I have seen, on making historic correct mocs.

A search should bring it up...for anyone else who would like to make their own.

With leather and a few basic tools, centerseam moccasins take less than an hour to make (from start to finish).
