Looking to pick up a kit or a completed musket for my son when he returns home from his latest deployment in the Army. Any recommendations from those experienced with these? I appreciate your insight!

I have the Pedersoli 1777 charleville. I like it, it doesn't have a rear sight so you have to learn to sight down the barrel.

I have a Pedersoli and its reliable and fun.
Run a WTB (want to buy) add in our firearms section and someone will probably hook you up or look around the web for a new one. I got some .662 balls from Track of the Wolf for mine and of course .32 buckshot too.
