There a re several in Va don't know how close they are but it will give you a start.

There are several options.

For just shooting, the local (and very good) club in Charlottesville is the Rivanna Rifle & Pistol Club (rrpc.org) - this is a full service modern club with 300 yard range, skeet, indoor pistol etc. RRPC is not a BP club but is right there at C-ville.

For a BP club, you will have to drive. About 1 & 3/4 hr east is arguably the largest BP club - James River Black Powder Club - they host a number of regional & state shoots. Some members are into the rondy thing, others are just BP shooters. Both are welcome at jrbpc.org.

A smaller but friendly rondy group is the Shenandoah Longrifles Club - near Middleton, VA inn the NW part of the state about 2 & 1/4 hours north of you - very nice Memorial & Labor Day rondys.

I belong to ovpr now (colonials) and will stay there also but was hoping to find something close by also.
