chunk gun barrel

Greets...I plan to build a chunk gun. does anyone know a barrelmaker who will make one 1 1/4" X 48" .50?? :hmm:

Ed Rayl may be a very good possiblity. I don't have his address or phone number though.

Ed's # is 304-364-8269. He lives in Gassaway, WV. He makes great barrels but if he has a big run on other barrels it may take a while. I have two great barrels from him but I did wait 6 months each. GC

Another :thumbsup: for Ed. 6 months is not a long time to wait for a custom barrel.

 

Search the archives here for Mark DeHaas or google him. He makes barrels up to 1.25" and up to 48". I'll wager you could get 3 or more from him before you got the first from Ed Rayle.

You can probably get barrels from somebody other than Ed Rayl, but Ed is a chunk gun shooter and most of the chunk gun shooters that I know use his barrels.
