Civil War Hard Tack Crate

This hard tack crate is made from yellow poplar. It's size is based on the typical shipping crate of the period. 22 “ long x 18 1/2” wide.
It stands 13” tall. (You can pack a lot of gear in this box!) A simple shipping crate if you wish, just add "To" and "From" to the top of the box.
Most shipping boxes were unpainted so if you would like to create your own hard tack company, well go right ahead.
This is a well made, correct sized hard tack crate for just about as little as you will ever pay for one.

Bought new from Blockade Runner Sutler #2944, never used $69.95

Local pick up or delivery available in Central, FL,
Shipping $ 25 to lower 48 states
