RIP Dennis… you are missed

My father ran coyotes with hounds his entire life. He could shatter windows with his favorite blowing horn.

As his hunting friend's started passing away one by one he brought his horn to their graveside services, stepped off a distance and gave a final call.

I brought his favorite horn, well over 140 years old, to his Graveside services and through teary eyes and a tight throat called him home one last time.

The photo from top to bottom were taken in Va. WV. and Va. I lived in Va. for 10 years prior to moving to New England. What state is home to you?

I’ve got the same waxed linen backpack from Bethlehem Trading Co in the first photo and love it. The Gransfors Hunters Hatchet is a good piece of kit too.

The firelocks look like Leonard Day guns. I have a dogcatch musket that Leonard made for me and a pistol just like his.
