I'm sure this topic has been covered before.
However here goes!
I've already made a few horns, some I have found empty, others I had to boil out.
I recently came across a pair still on a head at the local slaughter house, cut them off the head, and then soaked them for a few days.
Today I boiled them for an hour, and still the inside will not give up and dislodge.
What am I doing wrong?
Any help would be appreciated.
Best Regards

Old Ford

Heres what I do. You boil them till there soft, them I screw a big screw hook in bone part and run a thin blade around sides, then pull .Their is a grizlie part right on the tip of bone part that makes them hard to get out sometimes.Hope this helps. Dilly

Put them on an ant hill and cover with a cage to keep varmits and dogs away, those little buggers ARE good for something.
