How do you clean modern pewter ( pewterine) when it gets dull and white corrosion stuff off and remain food safe?

I'd try a paste of baking soda. Not certain it will work, but it just might.

Lead, zinc, aluminum and other similar metals can be negative affected by high PH

I'm not sure exactly what pewterine is...

But they do make pewter polish...If it were mine I would probably try Barkeepers friend.
But it's not mine...

Yes - but modern pewter is primarily tin, which we all know is used to line cooking pots (and subjected to extremes of pH and heat)...

This stuff is all lead free ,I thought pewterine was a modern brand name for this stuff

I'll second the Barkeeper's friend. Works great on every metal article I've tried it on.
