I wrote to the Clenzoil Co. about their product from an earlier thread about Clenzoil. I received a response from the company as follows:

Thanks for your inquiry regarding Clenzoil.

Actually, Clenzoil was originally developed specifically for neutralizing and removing corrosive blackpowder residues.

Ohio Rusty, Once you try Clenzoil, you will be wondering why it took you so long to do so?
:)

At the same time or mixing? I would say no, because oils will become like tar when mixing with BP fouling.
But simply remove the syn oil with alcohol patches and pipe cleaners and re-lube with your natural lube prior to shooting.

If I don't remove the Clenzoil, what kind of lubes are available that WILL be compatible (and hopefull not freeze).

You will need to contact Clenzoil regarding the compatibility of their lube with other lubes.

You can use it for a shooting lube and it works pretty well but not as well as natural lubes with repect to fouling. It may require field cleaning more often or after each shot. It does in my experiences.
