Are they any better than a round patch?

The external shape of a patch has no effect on the accuracy of the shot.

A square patch or heart shaped patch or clover leaf shaped patch will all work just like a round patch as long as the patch totally fills the zone where the ball meets the bore.

The guy that made em thinks so and welcomes yer $$ to agree. I just cut at the muzzle. SAME patch condition all the time :grin:
