Approximately how many flints do you run through a year per rifle?

I'm having flints shipped with my rifle, and I'd like to have enough to shoot 12 matches (25-40 shots per match) per year and a hundred or so shots between hunting and range sessions. Right now, I've got 25 coming with the gun, but I'm thinking I need more.

You should be good with 25 flints... if they’re good flints.

I usually get 35-45 shots from mine without knaping..
Unless it breaks..

I agree with @smo's assessment. 25 flints would be enough and have sufficient reserve. When you get down to 8, order another 24.

My experience is about 25-30 shots without question or hesitation per flint. If i get to 25-30 and I need an occasional nap to keep going, okay. If I finish a 30 shot match, I always change out a flint for next time. I NEVER hunt with an old flint.
