any reveiws on the one sold at the possibles shop? was thinking about picking one up and that looks to do all diffrent types of rifles

I have that exact model...I happened to get mine from Cabelas last year with the Flintlock adapter...works perfectly...my experience has been 2-3 discharges / cartridge.

Suggestion:
Unless you're independently wealthy, suggest you Google up CO2 cartridges and buy a bulk order from the Internet.

Be sure to get the correct large size cartridges, not the little ones...and with unthreaded ends.

I got a bulk box of thirty for $28 + shipping...gets the price down to $1.xx each.

I have the same experience as roundball, they work. Just shop around for the Co2 cartridges. I've been using mine for 3 years now and it's holding up well. On a flintlock I go ahead and remove the lock, it just gives you more working room to get the adapter into the touchhole.

Works Great.
Just be aware certain cartridges have oil in them for specific applications.

Fortunately the vent locations on my TC's lets mine slide right in with the lock still in place.

Note to Mr. Hawken:
Be very careful when using one of these CO2 dischargers...they expel a PRB with a lot of force.
keep the muzzle in a safe direction
If at the house after a hunt, use a box of old towels or something so you can reuse the ball

Something I have found is that they leave a small amount of powder still in the barrel. I popped a cap to make sure the ignition channel was dry the morning after I used mine for the first time and BOY! was that BOOM! a big suprise. I would just take that into consideration as you could load right on top of that powder and think you were shooting your "Pet Load" when actually you would be shooting 10-15 grains more.

So far, I haven't experienced that but it may be because my rifles all have Patent Breeches.
Could your experience have been with a straight breech where the vent might have been slightly in front of the breech face, leaving powder behind it?

My hunting pard had the same experience with his TC, and more recently with a Lyman. The first was a complete surprise to him, and especially to his wife. The second was a test in his garage rather than the house. Still made his wife unhappy!

My hunting pard was very skeptical about my claim that there was a significant amount of powder remaining after using the CO2 discharger........until that past week when he used his discharger and then used a scraper. He measured out approximately 25 grains of powder remaining in his T/C Hawken, my hunting pard is fortunate he does not have a wife or neighbors who get irate after the big bang occurs when popping a cap inside the house or in the garage.

The first time I tried a discharger it was a surprise. We were shooting In Az. and were in the Tin Tepee camp. I thought I would just "Pop" the ball into a plastic pail. Wrong, the gun let out a load report the pail went flying with a big ragged hole in the side. I heard the ball slap the trailer next door. No damage done except to the bucket. Was I shocked at the power of that little discharger.

Pretty much like roundball says. I have gotten 4 discharges from one canister but 2 to 3 is the norm. I've never had left over powder after a discharge, this was something I was worried about in the beginning but so far has not shown to be a problem in my gun. I did however drop my discharger a year ago and slightly bent the tip to one side, always try to place the tip so it's towards the breech ever since, just made sense to me, and it pops everything out.

I bought mine straight from RMC Sports in Pennsylvania...They produce them for most retailers. Going straight to them saved me a few $$ plus I can order all accessories form them as well. I just placed an order for more CO2 cart. I do however swab out the barrel after using them----I do not have to clean the lock. Be careful---they shoot the ball out with DEADLY force!!
