I can give some .45cal conical info as a reference that works outstanding for me in TC .45cal x 1:48" barrels:

TC .45cal/255grn Maxi-Hunters
Hornady .45cal/285grn Great Plains Bullets

I've tested several powder charges of 80, 90, 100, and 110grns of Pyrodex RS and Goex 2F...both with Oxyoke Wonderwads...extremely accurate...taken deer with both...neither was more accurate than the other for me, both can be a little pricey...then I stumbled across a huge volume purchase of several dozen boxes of unlubricated 255grn Maxi-Hunters at a give-away price so that was the one I settled on...lube them myself with a TC luber device that screws onto the end of a tube of TC's bore butter...devastating on deer...hope this helps.

I've only done limited shooting of conical's with my .45 but I'll be hunting with either one of these with an OxYoke Wonderwad, accuracy is really excellent.:
TC .45cal/255grn Maxi-Hunters
Hornady .45cal/285grn Great Plains

Also you could try the .45 cal 195, 225 or 275gr Powerbelt.

Or, a No-Excuse concial in 385, 460 or 495 grain.

Thanks for the info, like i said i bought this rifle about 6 months ago,put it on my gun rack.took it down the other night and looked at it.said nothing about the rate of twist. i assumed that it was 1:48.Called traditions they told me that it is 1:66 so i guess it will be prb out of this one, they call this rifle a frontier anybody else got one.
