Conner Prairie Museum is offering gunbuilding classes again. 5 day classes including blacksmithing with Nathan Allen, Knife or tomahawk with Hershel House & Melvyn Lytton, depending on your skill), kit assembly (with Jim Chambers & John Weston), relief carving (Bob Harn), Engraving (John Schipper).

2 1/2 day classes (concurrent with 5 day) include:

Powder Horn or Pottery (these are concurrent and are Mon-Wed)Bag making or Quill. Bag is taught by Ken Scott and Quill by Lally House. Both are Wed pm - Friday.

There's also weekend classes which includes:

Hearth cooking, tinsmithing, lock assembly (Jim Chambers), bow making, flax & wool, historic clothing (make your own hunting shirt or what not), silver wire inlay (Bob Harn), portmanteau, etc.

BTW, I've no financial interest (they're 501(c)3 anyhow) but I am a member - from the Land o' Rice a Roni so I'm far far away 'n a going enyhowe.
