Couple of knives

I thought I needed to redo some handle on some knives was not happer with it.

This knife is a San Mai That I showed earlier this summer ,There was some holes in the edge so I regrid the edge and repolished the blade. Then cold blue the hole thing.The handle is elk with file work on the back and plumber solder on the end.

Next is a belt knife The handle is elk . I still need to polish the edge.

This one I forges out of a cultervart dics , Handle deer and plumber solder on the front and the pin

The is a little little knife had a crooked antler handle and was not happy they way it felt.I deciede to put pin down the handle The pins are welding rod.

Nothing wrong with them James. I like the san mai bowie. It nice to see someone else making stuff from other old stuff. Keep up the good work...Bud
 
Really nice. I love the color of the blade on that first one. The cold blue looks great. :thumbsup: :thumbsup:

they all look nice. The second one has really good lines and would look great in a big bowie too.

Those are some sharp looking knives. I especially liked the belt knife with the elk handle.
 
Thanks all for the nice words. I enjoy makeing stuff from old stuff.The top one is 1095 core .

They all look really nice! I sure like the looks of the third knife. Look like real nice quality.
