made it to the crockett days this weekend. we had a good time watching the events and displays. there were a lot of great folks there. Jeff Sisk and his wife Tanya are wonderful people. they made us feel at home , this being our first event. i am definately hooked now on the re enacting/vous side of our hobby. it was hotter than blazes, nearly 105. i got a good shade tree to put my trade blanket under however. the selling wasnt good dont know if it was the heat or if everyone had all they needed. we asked around and it seemed it was slow for everyone. met jack garner as well and saw some of his work up close. one upside to not selling a lot is now im well stocked for my usual markets and now have free time to work on my outfit and finish a rifle i just started. overall it was a really great event and time plus we made a bunch of new friends.

it was tom. we had a blast like i said i just wish i could have sold more but oh well. the overall experience was worth it

Jason ,I have also been to the Crockett Days Celebration , back several years ago. I think it was held on up in the Fall back then, much cooler. But a great time was had by all. The crowds were huge back then & there were alot of items For Sale some of which were priced right!!!
