Has any one owned both or shot both that could give a comparison? I know the crockett is talked about alot but some of the dealers said the Quality is't what it used to be. Is this true? and is the Pedersoli like a high priced version of the crockett?

The Blue Ridge and Crocett are nothing alike. The Blue Ridge is a full stocked, 39" barrel, and the Crockett is a half stock with a 32" barrel. I have had a couple of Crocketts and they were extremely accurate. The only problem was the really cheap wood ramrod, but i hear they have solved that problem now and use an aluminum rod. Mine were very dependable, and like i said real accurate. If you already have the Blue Ridge in .32 i would stick with it and instead of a Crockett for a next gun look into a .50 or .54 cal for a hunting gun. You could even get one of them in a Blue Ridge since you would already be used to the way they handle. :m2c:
