Howdy, just rode into town. (You can fill in the sound of spurs when I walk - chink chink)

Have one 1858 Remington NMA reproduction by Euroarms. I shoot .454 round balls backed with 25 grains of 3F Pyrodex, cornmeal filler with CCI percussion caps. The Euroarms is pretty accurate with 3 out of 5 shots in the same hole when using a rest @ 25 yards. Looking to go conversion in the future.

Don't like the colt open tops. Arbor and the wedge is not strong enough in my opinion. (I know just made some enemies)

My avatar is of Gregory Peck in The Big Country. Towards the end when the duel takes place between McKay & Buck. Favorite movie!

"Thanks for the drink. See ya around town."

P.S. "Where did you get that shirt?"

Welcome to the forum, even if you don't like the colt... I've a .36 navy meself. As much as I like her to be truthful I bought it as a kit in 89 because it was the only one they had in stock and I was home on leave..

HEY!! Just what we need....an opinionated new guy! Seriously, welcome and feel free to express your views any time. Love to hear your black powder experiences.
