Ok, here is one I will miss. Can’t keep ‘em all. So I’m offering for sale a very nicely built custom .50 plains rifle! I don’t dare call I a hawken because well I isn’t. However takes its well executed styling from a hawken. Built around a beautiful bright and shiny 50 cal GR Douglas barrel they is a straight 1 1/8 from breech to muzzle and is 32” long. Sights are hand forged and very low pro as originals would be. Lock is hand made or it appears to be to me and is marked with a B on the outside. It is case hardened. Lock has no fly so the triggers must be set in order to operate. Trigger guard is hand forged and the triggers appear to be hand made as well. The stock is a well laid out piece of plain maple. It has a nice warm honey color. One brass star is inland neatly. All inlets are excellent! The stock has several very minor and superficial cracks. Someone once described them as wind cracks? I’m sure they have been there since the rifle was built as they are filled and sealed with the stock finish. They also have not moves or gotten any bigger since I have owned and sho many hundreds or rounds. LOP is 13.5” to the front trigger. Nice home made sling with antler buttons. This gun is a real shooter and the GR Douglas barrels are known for there accuracy and this one is no exception! I have toyed around with sending it to have the bore punched out to a .62 but just haven’t. Overall a very very nicely built plains rifle with hand forged parts and she this is an outstanding rifle and will make someone very happy I know I has put a smile on my face! I’m asking 925 shipped. Yeah, but using Paypal to buy guns is against Paypal policy and can get your account frozen, plus using F&F leaves no recourse if scammed. Not saying THIS is a scam, just that it turns people away.

I’m NO SCAMMER! Been buying and selling here for sometime just like most others. The original post says preferred, not required. It’s quick and easy that’s why I like it. That said I also sell and receive payment in the form of USPS MO almost more that PayPal. All you have to do is ask. Also money orders also are susceptible to scams, that is the risk we all assume when buying and selling online.
