Here's a little "Beauty" I picked up awhile back It was made by a Gunmaker here In Eastern Nebraska, I use a 30 Grain charge of FF Goex and a Patched Roundball and It's a real pleasure to Shot ! I'm getting another one made to match this one and after that I'm getting a pair of 62 Cal Underhammer's made,

Does anyone else have any Underhammer's ? Is so It would be Great to see them, Take Care All !

Snake Dr,
I recently got the brother to your UH. Rod does a great job on these and is very reasonably priced. Mine has a 6" barrel in .45 cal with an antiqued finish.

I'll bet It's a Beauty Mark ! If you can post some picture's I'd love to see it. I talked with Rod about a Month ago and he's real busy with Order's so It wont be until this Fall befor I can get my other Underhammer's made. I'm also saving up for a Custom 54. Cal. Plains Pistol from Rod It cost a whole lot more to make a Plains Pistol than these Underhammer's. I'm Lucky I only live about 36 Mile's south of Rod so I can visit his Shop, He's a very Nice Guy ! He also set's up a Table at the Herman Nebraska Gun Show In December, Have you ever seen his Custom Hawken Rifle's ? There really Nice ! My Underhammer has a 4" Barrel and I cant wait to get my other one for a matched set,

Don these are priced at between 150.00 and 180.00 depending on Barrel length. He usually only make's them when he has small piece's of Barrel left over from making other Gun's I paid 150.00 for mine,

Looks good! He's currently working on a .36 one for me and then I'm going to try to talk him into making me a copy of an early Ruggles 20 bore fowler that I have some photos of.

He shot me an email last night letting me know that it's finished. Here's the photo of the finished product:

.36 cal, 6 in barrel.

I requested maple grips and the earlier 1826 patent style hammer. He didn't disappoint!

Cody,
Mine has the later straight hammer but I really like the one you got. I wonder if he will make a seperate hammer that I can fit up?
Mark

You got a real Beauty there Cody ! I also really like that Hammer style, Rod's Muzzleloader's are "Work's Of Art" ! Thank's for sharing the picture,

I also wanted to let you know I seen one of Rod's Fowler's at the last Herman Gun Show and It was a Beauty, I just missed out on one here not to long ago on the second hand Market that Rod made for a Guy In Fremont Nebraska who was selling his but at the time I was low on cash and could'nt afford It, If you get that Fowler made be sure and post some picture's, Take Care !

I cant get your Link's to work Thick Ice, For some reason Link's dont work on the Forum, If you do a search on Gun Broker they have a few listed In the Muzzleloading Pistol section,

Forum rule #22 says: Do not post links to auction items (yes, this includes the name of the domain and the item number).

Because members don't follow this rule, Claude has set up the forums computer to block links to auction sites.

My bad, guess I overthought it, since it wasn't a link to anything I was selling, thought it would be OK. Anyway there are 4 underhammers for sale there, one is .72 cal.
